Our programme of events for 2021/2022 is detailed below. We meet in Groombridge Village Hall, Station Road, Groombridge TN3 9QX

22nd AprilCut a Here Comes the Sun paper template with Christine Green of BBC 4’s MAKE Craft Britain.
27th MayHalloumi and salad with Debbie’s delicious chilli jam: a demonstration how to make, serve and eat this lovely conserve
24th JuneMakaton: an interactive taster with Sheila Inwards. Learn to sign a few basic words – you might make someone’s day
22nd JulySanden Vineyard Tour: join us for a wine-tasting tour and nibbles
AugustNo formal meetings this month
23rd SeptemberPre-loved & craft evening – An opportunity to sell any pre-loved clothing that you would like to pass on or an opportunity to sell something that you make. Ideally we would like our members to host tables where they would wish to sell things. We are not charging a stall fee but would hope that any profit that you make you would donate 10% of your takings to WI. We hope regulations will allow us to serve tea/coffee and cakes!
28th OctoberWI Dancing Queens: dig out your silver platforms and throw away your inhibitions to the music of ABBA
25th NovemberChristmas Crafts: try your hand at making some festive decorations
16th DecemberIt’s Party Time: see out the year with our Christmas Party and bring and share supper
22nd January 2022Get your brain going during our New Year Quiz Night with Ray and Roger
24th FebruaryZero Waste Company Tunbridge Wells will tell us how we can do a bit more to save the world
24th MarchThe Dance of the Harem: get wiggling as you learn to belly dance with Ann Law

Our Pins and Needles Craft Group meet virtually on the 3rd Monday of each month from 7.30pm and from September 2021 will return to the Village Hall Club Room

Book Group meets on Thursdays, every six weeks and virtually at the moment. They hope to return to The Junction pub soon.
